Every gamer would wish to play PS2 games on PC, here is a tutorial to play PS2 games on pc. To play PS2 games on pc many emulators are available but of them all PCSX2 is best & works on most PC's, also it is easy to configure. I have configured PCSX2 in my lappy to play GOD OF WAR, on that basis i'm going to review the freeware.
What You Will Require?
- PCSX2 Software - It is a freeware & hence available for free from the vendor itself. You can download it here.
- BIOS for PCSX2 - BIOS is a must for running PCSX2 officially you have to dump it from your own pc which is usually very tedious task, so i have simplified it. You can download it here.
- PS2 ISO or Game CD - Iso is the image of the game CD usually created using nero or any other CD burning softwares, using ISO images is recommended for better performance.
How to Configure?
- On first run you will be prompted to select BIOS. The BIOS you have downloaded will appear as "PCSX2 1.0.0 Windows Binary - Version:1.0.0" extract this file to get BIOS.
- Now copy the BIOS file to the location where you have installed PCSX2 under BIOS folder.
- Next step will be to configure gamepad while you can configure by going to Plugins under Lilypad.
- Now you are ready to play.
Troubleshooting
- In case above configuration doesn't work try reducing graphics quality by configuring Video plugin.
- If you are unable to configure you can ask for help here, your problem will be reviewed as soon as possible.
