- Once created partition is activated format it by typing ‘Format fs=ntfs’. This will start formatting your pen drive taking 15 to 22 minutes.
- After the cleanup is done keep writing the commands as ’assign’, this will assign a letter to the drive.
- Now close diskpart console by commanding ‘exit’.
- Do not close command prompt now.
- Type the drive letter in which you have extracted windows 7 ISO image. For instance its d type D: and press enter.
- As soon as you enter, you will automatically enter d:/win7 (directory where you have extracted the ISO file.
- Type 'CD Boot' and press enter.
- Now type ‘Bootsect.exe/nt60 h:’ where ‘h’ is the drive letter of your flash drive.
- You have now successfully made your flash drive bootable, now copy all extracted files to your bootable pen drive and reboot to install widows 7 on your pc.
