As i have already discussed that rooting android phone refers to unlocking or jail breaking your android smartphone. This can be accomplished using various methods, here i will tell you how to root android phone using Root Master. This method of rooting is suitable for android smartphones running in Gingerbread or lower editions, as i have tested it on my phone running on Gingerbread & it worked. So before starting to root you must get following apps/softwares:

Apps/Softwares Required to Root Android Phone -

To successfully root android phone you need to get following things ready:
  • Phone Drivers:
    Firstly download device drivers for your phone, these are device specific & can be easily found on the manufacturers website for free. Do not confuse this with some PC SUITE or something like that, these are required to connect to root master on your PC.

  • Rooting Software:
    There are a bunch of these types of softwares. Here i have used Root Master, so i will recommend it. I strongly recommend you to use only one procedure otherwise you may end up bricking you phone. You can download rootmaster from here.

  • Superuser App:
    You can find this app as SuperSU on play store. It will control the root operations of your phone.
Procedure to Root Android Phone -
I guess you might have downloaded the above softwares till now. Okay now lets move on further.

  • Install Softwares:
    Install your phone drivers & Root master on your computer. Please note that your phone needs to be atleast 80% charged so make sure it is charged more than that. 

  • Enable USB Debugging Mode:
    You now need to enable USB debugging mode in your phone. This option is located as "Setting>Applications>Development>USB Debugging".

  • Connect to PC:
    Now connect your phone using USB cable to your computer, do not turn on USB Storage.

  • Open RootMaster:

    As you will open root master interface as below will be appeared. Click on root, wait a few seconds to connect it to your phone. When rooting process will be completed your phone will restart confirming the successful completion of the process.
  • Rooting Successful:
    You have now successfully rooted you android phone. You will now notice an additional app, which is for super user access or root access you can replace this app with its English version by installing SuperSU.
