What is Tethering?
Literally tethering refers to connecting one device to other by using some frequency ranges. Furthermore for sharing of this connection a link will be required which could either be a USB Cable or a Wireless LAN locally known as WiFi or Bluetooth. Here we are to only discuss about Bluetooth tethering in android devices. I guess that's enough to be known about tethering.
Why Tethering Via Bluetooth?
It is a basic question that will already be poking your mind. Bluetooth tethering is the best method if you want to save your battery power while in other techniques of tethering like in WiFi your battery power will continually be degraded, resulting in shortening of battery life. Additionally Bluetooth tethering is simple a P2P (point to point) communication, thus data transfer is very secure as no other user is in the network while it is converse for Wireless LAN as many users will simultaneously be connected & presence of a single well brained fellow can cause a privacy bleach. Well if that is the case you can choose USB tethering too as it also server as a P2P communication service. I guess you're not puzzled now & i would be now clear enough why tethering via bluetooth?
